Come to Downtown Rapid City to do your holiday shopping. Enjoy the ambiance of this beautifully restored area and its quaint shops. Stroll around historic downtown Rapid City where unique gifts and antique treasures can be found in the many shops located within easy walking distance of the Hotel. You might want to take a trip through time at the Journey Museum and see all its' gift shop has to offer then go down Mt. Rushmore road and say "hi" to the Reindeer at Bear Country USA before doing some special shopping at their wonderful store. For a really unique experience this year, visit Reptile Gardens and "Jingle in the Jungle"! Their gift shop has many one of a kind gifts that cannot be found anywhere else.
If the timing is right, come take advantage of the many Arts & Crafts Shows as well as the Holiday Concerts that are happening at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center . Don't forget to come see the Parade of Lights as it wanders through Downtown.
You may want go ice skating in the comfortable new Roosevelt Park Ice Arena or to catch a movie at the Historic Elks Theatre. Whatever your plans, you are sure to have a memorable experience.
